Ciris Energy Inc. is a privately held corporation founded in 2007, and focused on the production of clean energy from low-value hydrocarbon resources, through practical, large-scale application of proven technology. Ciris was formed following 9 years of research and development effort focused on the validation of our technology. Unlike most oil and gas exploration and production companies, Ciris is developing and using new but simple technology to produce low-cost energy, applying a full range of scientific and engineering disciplines.

Ciris was founded by Robert Downey, a 33-year veteran of the oil and gas and power generation industry. Our growing core team of scientists and engineers provide key expertise and experience for development and implementation of our unique approaches toward clean energy recovery.

Ciris has a strong Board of Directors and scientific advisory group. We are well-funded and focused on pragmatic implementation of our strategic plan. We have developed intellectual property to protect our technology and innovative methods, and expect to remain a private company for the foreseeable future.
